FAVORITE LOCAL RECIPE OF THE DAY

Mayonnaise Chicken

Feb 21, 2012 -- 9:37am

(Caution: Not for people who are watching their cholesterol)

2 pounds chicken thighs
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise (Best Foods of course!)
1 - 2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup bread crumbs or panko

Method:
~ Season chicken with salt & pepper
~ Spray baking pan with Pam. Lay chicken in pan, skin side up.
~ Spread mayonnaise over chicken
~ Sprinkle bread crumbs over mayonnaise coated chicken.
~ Bake at 375 degrees for 45 - 50 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

History:

This is an old one in my recipe files... I got it from one of my good friends when we
were still in intermediate school, Sherry (Kanda) Agdeppa. This was one of my hubbies
fav'z. I don't make it more then once a year because of the cholesterol factor... LOL!!
We don't have high cholesterol and wanna keep it that way.. But this bugga is sooooo
good! You decide!

Sweet & Sour Spareribs

2 pounds spareribs
1 Tablespoon shoyu (soy sauce)
2 Tablespoon all purpose flour
3 Tablespoon cooking oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 small piece ginger, crushed

Method
~ Sprinkle shoyu & flour over ribs.

History:

Sweet & Sour spareribs are an island favorite. I like to toss in some pineapple
